Strategy | Tactics | Solution:Since way back in 1905, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers has been a true symbol of timeless style. They’ve built their reputation on creating clothes from the most luxurious materials, and all that magic happens right in their warehouse in Maryland. Looking back, I had the incredible role of being their Art Director for more than a decade, stretching from the 90s to the early 2000s. And you know, during all those years, I couldn’t shake off this persistent idea: why not infuse the brand with a fresh, modern vibe that clicks with the hip trends and speaks to a younger crowd? That, of course, meant saying goodbye to some of the old-school ways.
And wouldn’t you know it, the stars aligned recently, giving me the perfect chance to take charge of a rebranding adventure. This was all about unleashing my creative vision and breathing new life into the brand on my own terms. Armed with a bunch of cool ideas, I mixed comfort and style, carefully crafted some earthy colors, got some models who rocked that cool-yet-sophisticated vibe, and picked fonts that were both clear and artsy. The result? A vibe that oozes positivity and success, and it’s just as perfect for a busy workday as it is for kicking back with buddies after a great day.
Now, let me tell you about the spark that flew from rebranding Jos. A. Bank. It got me all fired up to create something equally amazing for women, and that’s where Madeline Michelle stepped in. I took a lot of the same design mojo and applied it here, playing with a neutral palette jazzed up with those lively spring colors. This brand is like a mix of vintage charm and modern sass, and the way those organic patterns play around? It’s just the cherry on top.
